NEW! DRAWING 101

DRAWING 101 is a new, expanded introduction to drawing for adults. While it is designed for folks with little or no formal drawing lessons and/or prior experience, this is also a great course for students wanting to hone their skills with practice through focused exercises. Each class covers a different aspect of drawing with each lesson building on the one before. Classical drawing techniques taught include gesture and contour line drawing, negative and positive shape/space, one-point and two-point perspective, and a brief introduction to shading. We will use a variety of materials in class, all of which are included in the required supply fee. Course meets for 6 weeks for about 2 hours per week. Max of 4 students at a time. Choose between Saturdays or Mondays.

  • Meets 1:30-4 p.m. on Sunday afternoons, Jan. 5, 12, 19, 26, 28, Feb. 2,9
  • Total Fee is $360 ($260 for the 6-week course plus $100 for required supply fee/kit, $92.38 + 7.62 tax). Kit is custom designed for this course and includes everything you need to get complete class exercises and homework assignments. Purchase of the kit is required...no exceptions.
