Children Ages 5-7: Tuesdays Art After School
Starting in this year, we are introducing a new theme for this age group: The Masters & Me. Each session will feature a different famous artist. Students will not only learn about the artist but will compete an age-appropriate painting done in the style, technique or subject made famous by that artist.
- Tuesday Art After School for ages 5-7 meet from 4-5:30 p.m. weekly in 3-week session
- Seating is limited to 8 children per class.
- FEE: $90* per 3-week session, includes use of all supplies plus a snack.
- Winter 2016 Multi-class discounts: Save $2.50 off the $90 fee on 2nd class session; $5.00 off the $90 fee on the 3rd class session. Discounts will be applied after we received your enrollment confirmation.
- *Note: Regular price for Winter 2016 is $120 per 3-week session. However, each child will receive an automatic scholarship of $30 toward the tuition for each session they are enrolled in making the final fee $90. These scholarships are made available from grants provided to the New Braunfels Art League by members and benefactors.

JIM DINE & ME:
"Hearts" Love is in the air and Hearts are on the canvas! Modern American Pop Artist Jim Dine was famous for his many versions of colorful heart paintings. Using bright acrylics on canvas, students will create a stylized, eye-popping heart design in the style of this artist. Feel the LOVE and paint like Jim Dine! |

JULIAN ONDERDONK & ME: "Old Live Oak Tree and Bluebonnets"
Native San Antonio artist Julian Onderdonk was famous for his gorgeous bluebonnet landscapes. Learn about impressionist painting and create a colorful bluebonnet scene to show off your love of the Texas state flower. |
